Following Jesus Changes a Man's Life

FOLLOW JESUS

Discipleship begins with Jesus Christ. He calls us not simply to believe in Him, but to follow Him.

Following Jesus means learning from Him, obeying His Word, becoming more like Him, and allowing our faith to shape how we live—as husbands, fathers, friends, church members, and men of God.

“If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”

LUKE 9:23 NASB

GOD'S WORD

Know the Truth

Spend time in Scripture, learning what God has revealed and allowing His Word to shape what you believe and how you live.

Following Jesus Is a Way of Life

PRAYER

Walk With God

Develop a life of prayer—seeking God, giving thanks, confessing sin, asking for wisdom, and praying for others.

“My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.”

JOHN 15:8 NASB

GROW AS A DISCIPLE

Do What Christ Says

OBEDIENCE

Spiritual growth involves more than knowing God's Word. A disciple responds to what he learns with faith and obedience.

LIVE YOUR FAITH

Bear Fruit

Let your relationship with Christ be seen in your character, family, relationships, work, service, and the way you treat others.

No Man Walks Alone

God did not design Christian men to grow in isolation. We need other men who will encourage us, pray with us, challenge us, and remind us to remain faithful to Christ and His Word.

Biblical brotherhood is more than spending time together. It is building relationships where men can be honest, learn from one another, strengthen one another, and walk together through the different seasons of life.

“Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another.”

PROVERBS 27:17 NASB

Discipleship grows stronger when one man helps another man follow Jesus.

TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Your Discipleship Journey Continues

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. Wherever you are today, there is always another step you can take in knowing God's Word, growing in Christ, walking with other men, and living out your faith.

You Don't Have to Take That Step Alone.

OFBC Men's Ministry is here to help men grow as disciples of Jesus Christ through biblical resources, encouragement, fellowship, and relationships with other men who are seeking to follow Him faithfully.

Ministry members have access to additional discipleship resources, Bible studies, training materials, and other tools designed to encourage continued spiritual growth.
