Taking you first step of Faith
If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for your sins and rose from the dead, and you are truly ready to turn from your sins and trust Him as your Savior and Lord, you can speak directly to God in prayer.
You do not need special words or someone else to pray on your behalf. God knows your heart. Take a moment to find a quiet place where you can speak honestly with Him.

A PRAYER OF REPENTANCE AND FAITH
Heavenly Father, I come before You, I recognize that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness.
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins, and that He rose from the dead. I repent of my sins and turn to You. I place my faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone as my Savior and Lord.
Thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Help me to follow Jesus, understand Your Word, and live a life that honors You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Remember: These words are not a formula that saves you. Salvation is God's gift, received through genuine repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Prayer is simply one way to express that faith.

The Holy Spirit now dwells within you.
(Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19)
You have the promise of eternal life. (John 5:24; 1 John 5:11–13)
You are not beginning this journey alone. God has given you His Holy Spirit to dwell within you, guide you in truth, and help you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Your Next Important Step — Speak with a Pastor!
If you have just prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, we strongly encourage you to contact a Pastor and arrange a personal meeting as soon as possible.
This is the most important decision of your life, therefore after you have made this personal decision, you should not begin your spiritual journey without personal encouragement and biblical guidance. If you have friends or family who are Christians, share this good news with them and ask for help on contacting a Pastor at a local church where you live.
The purpose of this meeting is not for a Pastor to grant you salvation or decide whether God has saved you. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Rather, a Pastor can help you understand God's promises and gain biblical confidence in your relationship with Him.
